Ramneek Wig's Workshop on "The Miracles of Pranayama"

Our firm Yoga Enjoyment is involved in publication of books, and conducting workshops, lectures and seminars in both India and abroad. Mr. Ramneek Wig, who is also the founder of our firm, is a great motivational speaker and a self-help writer. He did his Diploma in Yoga and Naturopathy (DYN) in the year 2001-02 from Shri Lal Bahadur Shastri Rashtriya Sanskrit Vidyapeetha (Deemed University), which is situated in New Delhi. He came first, and was awarded a Gold Medal for his outstanding performance.

Mr. Ramneek Wig regularly conducts workshops on “The Miracles of Pranayama,” in both India and abroad. Apart from this, Mr. Wig also does individual counselling on “Pranayama Therapy.”

Today stress seems to be a major cause of concern all across the globe. Both teenagers and adults are suffering from this malady. Right from childhood, till the time you leave this planet earth, stress seems to manifest in some form or the other.

There could be several reasons for stress, right from making a living, to family problems, health issues, meeting deadlines and surviving in this competitive world. This continuous stress results in ill health, various psychosomatic diseases, anxiety disorders and depression.

The word prana stands for the vital energy present within each one of us. In gross terms, it can be easily understood as the breath. Ayama stands for regulation, direction and control; thus pranayama is a technique which helps in the regulation, control and direction of the breath.

Mr. Ramneek Wig has been doing a lot of research on pranayama and healing since the past many years; it was in the year 2004, he made a set of pranayamas, and named them as “Mind-Body-Soul pranayamas.” These are 15 in number. He also coined the term “Pranayama therapy” in the same year.

About Ramneek Wig

About us:

Mr. Ramneek Wig was a practicing lawyer when he was diagnosed with cancer at the age of 25. He underwent chemotherapy’s in the year 1999. It had hardly been three months since the treatment had ended; he got a relapse of the disease. Mr. Wig went to the United States for a bone marrow transplant in the year 2000.

After coming back from the transplant, Mr. Wig led a normal life for about three years. It was the end of the year 2003 when Mr. Wig again got a relapse of cancer. The doctors in India totally gave him up as a hopeless case; however, Mr. Wig had a great positive attitude towards life. This time, Mr. Wig went along with his parents to USC Medical Center in Los Angeles. There he was treated with research drugs.

Even after Mr. Wig’s treatment was completed; the doctors showed a bleak picture. The doctors said that the cancer would come back within the next six months. Mr. Wig had a great positive attitude. He had full faith in God, and moreover, never gave up. Mr. Wig made a set of pranayamas for himself, and named them “Mind-Body-Soul Pranayamas.” They are 15 in number. He practiced these pranayamas daily without fail.

It’s been many years since then, Mr. Wig is healthy; he is a successful author, and a great motivational speaker. Mr. Ramneek Wig says, “Pranayama can do Wonders.”
